Moving on, and trying to to get into the 21st century, we have put this web site together .... but with over 4000 product lines (and new lines being found all the time!) in our 2 stores, it will take a while untill we can get most of our stock here.

We are a family run company which has grown over the years and have two shops in Dorset. We offer an extensive range of caravan and camping equipment, spares and accessories, also tents, awnings, camp furniture, outdoor clothing, rucksacks, and sleepingbags.
You can now see our range of new caravan awnings on our fantasic new first floor show room.
Tents (from 1 person back-packer to 8 berth family tents), driveaway awnings for motorhomes, caravan awnings and store and toilet tents are all on display.
You can also try out the comprehensive range of tables, chairs and even bunk beds. You will be able to walk in, sit in, see the colours of the fabrics available (and ... in the dry!) and talk with our friendly and experienced staff.

When it comes to outdoor equipment, there are a lot of cliches around - 'It's a jungle out there!', 'It's a minefield!'. Over the top, of course, but there is a lot to consider. At Hitch-N-Pitch we aim to sift the wheat from the chaff to offer you a the best camping and caravan kit that is both fit for the purpose and value for money.
Our equipment testers and buyers are busy outdoors all year round - it's a tough job but someone has to do it - trying out new developments in tent and awning design, new water fittings ..... the list goes on and on!
